Arthur designed and built what the Armour family refers to as “The Cabin”. Inspired by "Fallingwater", the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, The Cabin is nestled in a beautiful hemlock valley overlooking a rushing mountain stream and gorgeous waterfall. It is built using only wood and stone found on site with a grand bay window overlooking the falls. It was a team effort with his wife Marian who curated the vegetation and collections of unique artifacts.  Later in life, the cabin was the subject of many of Arthur’s watercolor paintings.

The Cabin is kept up by Arthur's son Thomas Armour and remains a cherished family gathering location, a haven for retreat and recollection, and most of all a place to glorify God in His creation.
